Dear CEF blog, Join us this evening between 7 and 8pm for Green Drinks at the Franciscan Well Brewery on North Main St. Green Drinks - what's that?! Green Drinks is an informal gathering of people interested in sustainability/green issues/the environment. It is simply an opportunity to meet and mix with old friends and to meet likeminded folk in the area. There is no agenda or desired outcome to the evening other than making introductions and getting to know one another. What will we talk about?! Whatever you want! There is a lot going on in the local world of sustainability to discuss (depending on who appears): - The Cork Cycling Arts Festival
- Ireland's Credit Rating woes! (and two very interesting local trading events held in Cork recently)
- Water charging/metering
- The glamorous world of Septic Tank monitoring
- The government consultation on a possible levy on packaging
- ... or whatever else springs to mind.
But these are just suggestions - there is no agenda, no formality, no speakers. Drop in any time between 7 and 8. Look out for familiar faces, or ask at the bar for Cork Environmental Forum or Green Drinks. See you there! Patrick CEF LATEST NEWS |
